WITH PERFORMANCES AND TESTIMONIES FROM

Featuring Heather Mae

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the evening will come to an end with a show-stopping performance by Heather Mae, a Nashville-based, award-winning singer-songwriter and activist renowned for her fearless exploration of themes like mental health, queer identity, and social justice. Her music blends alternative rock, indie pop, and folk storytelling to create anthems that resonate with outsiders, survivors, and seekers of radical joy. Known for her raw vulnerability and electrifying performances, Mae has cultivated a devoted fanbase and garnered recognition, including accolades like the winner of the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase and Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Artist-Activist of the Year award.

In 2025, Mae released a groundbreaking double album project: “WHAT THEY HID FROM ME” (alternative) and “kiss & tell” (pop). These records, brought to life by an all-women and nonbinary creative team in Nashville, delve into the pain of unlearning, the fire of self-discovery, and the freedom of living unapologetically. By assembling a dynamic collective of women and non-binary talents, including producer ZDAN, Lollies, Grammy award-winning musician Allison Russell, and the extraordinary duo Sistastrings, Mae not only showcases the unparalleled talent and versatility of marginalized voices but also challenges the stark gender disparity in music production. With these albums, Mae plants a flag for the misfits, the lovers, the fighters—anyone who’s been told to quiet down—offering music that is both a fist in the air and a hand on your back.
